Put the oat flakes and apple juice in a small saucepan and let steep for 5 - 10 minutes.
Add the applesauce and almond milk and mix. Turn the stove on high and let the porridge warm up on it.
In the meantime, either add the apple in pieces or grate in. Set the stove to medium and add the cinnamon while stirring constantly. Depending on your taste, add a little almond milk if you want the porridge to be creamier. Otherwise simmer for another 3 minutes.
Decorate or refine the porridge with fruit, nuts, etc. and season with honey or agave syrup if it is not sweet enough.
