Wash the apples, quarter them and cut into thin slices. Layer the apple slices in a baking dish and sprinkle with the flaked almonds. Peel the bananas, break into pieces and whisk together with the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, cream and, if necessary, with the fruit sweetness.
Pour the mixture over the apple slices. Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 180oC for about 15 minutes and serve warm with a few scoops of vanilla ice cream.
