Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and remove the core. Then grate the apples and the banana. I always use the food processor, but I can certainly use a mixer or something similar. If you don`t want to use a banana, you can replace it with 1 - 2 apples.
  2. Mix the apple-banana mixture with cane sugar, cocoa, cranberries or other dried fruits and the nuts and almonds. I mostly use hazelnuts, walnuts and almonds or, for example, cashews, depending on your taste and preferences or what the pantry has to offer. You can also add some rum (approx. 30 ml).
  3. Mix everything well and let steep in the refrigerator overnight.
  4. The next day, just add flour and baking powder, knead well and put in a greased loaf pan of 24 cm length (1.8 liter capacity).
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for approx. 60 minutes on the middle rack.
