Instructions

  1. First wash the apples, peel them if necessary (you can also use them unpeeled), cut them into pieces and put them in a saucepan. Add a few dashes of lemon juice, water, raisins and sugar and bring to a boil. Then turn the flame down and simmer on a low heat for about 5 to 8 minutes. Don`t forget to stir. Then take it off the stove and let it steep.
  2. Then mix the yoghurt with the honey and cinnamon (the amount of both ingredients can be varied depending on your taste) in a bowl. Using the hand mixer, whip the cream in a separate bowl until stiff and fold into the yoghurt.
  3. Either put the apple compote in the cold or distribute it on bowls while it is still lukewarm and spread the yoghurt-cinnamon cream on top. Enjoy cold or warm.
  4. If you like it less fat, you can simply use more yogurt and less cream.
  5. Children in particular like this dessert very much, but adults can also be inspired by this simple but delicious combination. Not just a dessert for the cold season.
