Halve, core and peel the apples. Steam the 4 apple halves in approx. 150-200 ml water with the lemon juice, sugar and possibly a little cinnamon for a few minutes. Collect the juice and make up to 500 ml with milk.
Using this apple juice-milk mixture and the sugar, make a vanilla pudding according to the instructions. Place the apple halves with the pit facing up in 4 small glass bowls. Fill each with 1 teaspoon of jam. Spread the pudding on top and let it cool in the refrigerator. But can also be eaten warm.
