Instructions

  1. Halve an apple and place on a plate.
  2. Cut an approx. 1 cm wide slit lengthways into the apple approx. 3-4 cm from the front / lower edge (from left to right over the entire front half of the apple). This becomes the frog`s mouth.
  3. Halve the grapes and place one half on the front of the apple as feet. Cut 2 spikes into each bunch of grapes, this makes the foot look even more real.
  4. Halve the rest of the grapes and place them on the side of the apple as arms. There are 2 half grapes on each side. One as an upper arm and one as a forearm. Also cut spikes in the forearm so that the hands look more real.
  5. Finally, cut through the marshmallow once and put a chocolate drop on each as a pupil (by cutting through the marshmallow it sticks to the inside and holds the chocolate drops without having to fix anything). Stick both halves of marshmallow into the top half of the apple with a toothpick each.

  7. The recipe describes an apple frog, of course the second half of the apple does not have to be disposed of, but you can take twice the amount of ingredients and prepare another frog.
