- Whip the cream until stiff and season with salt, pepper, sugar and lemon juice. Fold in the horseradish.
- Peel and halve the apple. Remove the core and grate the apple halves into strips that are not too fine. Fold loosely into the horseradish cream.

- Another option is to replace the cream with yoghurt and crème fraiche.
