Instructions

  1. Rub the lemon peel. Squeeze the lemon, collect the juice. Peel the apples, cut them into slices, drizzle with the lemon juice. Mix the fat, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt until frothy. Mix in the lemon zest, eggs, flour, baking powder and milk one after the other. Fill 1/3 of the dough into a springform pan, smooth out. Spread half of the apple slices on top. Pour in another third of the batter. Cover with the remaining apple slices and spread the rest of the batter on top.
  2. Bake for about 1 hour (E: 200 degrees, gas: level 3). Let cool down, take out of the mold. Heat the jam, brush the cake with it. Roast the almonds without fat, let them cool and spread on the cake. Dust with powdered sugar.
