- Chop the peeled nuts half coarsely / half finely and roast in a non-stick pan without fat / oil.
- Add honey and let it caramelize.
- Peel and dice the apples.
- Remove the nuts from the pan, fry the apples in butter until they are soft. Add the nuts again. Season to taste with cinnamon, vanilla and honey.
- Put 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream in a bowl and serve with the still hot apple-nut mixture.
- Depending on your taste, a dollop of whipped cream can be served with it.
