Instructions

  1. Quarter the onions. Heat the butter and sauté the onions until translucent. Roughly chop the sage, sprinkle over the onions, pour in the wine and stew for 3 minutes.
  2. Eighth the apples, remove the core. Mix the apples with apple juice and add to the onions. Season with salt, pepper and sugar, stew for 5 to 7 minutes and season to taste.
  3. Serve with pan-fried food.
