Instructions

  1. Core, peel and slice the apples and slice the onions into rings.
  2. Steam the apples in about 3 tablespoons of water. Roast the onions in hot oil until golden brown.
  3. Pour in the stock and red wine and let it boil down a little. Thicken with a sauce thickener if desired.
  4. Then heat the apple wedges in the sauce and serve.
