Instructions

  1. Mix the butter, sifted sugar, vanilla sugar and grated lemon until creamy. Stir in the yolks one at a time.
  2. Beat egg whites into snow.
  3. Mix the sifted flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the grated almonds, the cream and the almond liqueur.
  4. Finally lift the egg whites underneath.
  5. Spread the dough on a greased, floured baking sheet / loaf pan 40.
  6. For the topping, peel the apples roughly grate and mix with granulated sugar, cinnamon, raisins and rum.
  7. Spread the apple filling evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with flaked almonds.
  8. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for approx. 40-50 minutes.
  9. Take the cake out of the oven.
  10. Mix the apricot jam with hot water and the almond liqueur and spread on the warm cake.
