Instructions
- Mix the butter, sifted sugar, vanilla sugar and grated lemon until creamy. Stir in the yolks one at a time.
- Beat egg whites into snow.
- Mix the sifted flour and baking powder and stir in alternately with the grated almonds, the cream and the almond liqueur.
- Finally lift the egg whites underneath.
- Spread the dough on a greased, floured baking sheet / loaf pan 40.
- For the topping, peel the apples roughly grate and mix with granulated sugar, cinnamon, raisins and rum.
- Spread the apple filling evenly over the dough. Sprinkle with flaked almonds.
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees for approx. 40-50 minutes.
- Take the cake out of the oven.
- Mix the apricot jam with hot water and the almond liqueur and spread on the warm cake.
