Instructions

  1. First peel, quarter and cut the apples. Immediately drizzle with lemon juice.
  2. Remove 5 tablespoons of the apple juice, bring the rest to the boil. Mix the pudding powder with the apple juice and sugar until smooth and add to the apple juice. Stir in the apple pieces and set aside.
  3. For the batter, stir together butter, 150g sugar and salt until creamy. Add the eggs, sift the flour and baking powder over them, finally fold in the crème fraîche. Put the dough in a greased springform pan (a size 26 is ideal). Now put the apple pudding mixture on the dough and bake everything at 175 ° C under / overheat for about 1 hour. After about 50 minutes, put the almonds on the cake. After 1 hour, test with a wooden skewer whether there is still any dough sticking to it. If so, the cake can bake for another 10 minutes.
