Instructions

  1. Peel and quarter the apples and remove the core. Cut the apples into pieces. Bring lemon juice, 5 tablespoon water, 75 g sugar and apples to the boil. Cover and simmer over low heat for about 15 minutes. Let the compote cool down (it just tastes like that).
  2. For the crumble: Knead 300 g flour, 1 packet of vanilla sugar, almonds, 175 g sugar and 175 g soft fat with the dough hook of the hand mixer until crumbly.
  3. For the batter: mix 200 g fat, 175 g sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar until creamy. Gradually stir in the eggs. Add the sour cream. Mix 375 g flour and baking powder and stir into the egg mixture.
  4. Grease the baking sheet or line it with parchment paper, pour the batter on it and smooth it out. Spread the apple compote evenly on the dough and sprinkle with the crumble.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven (electric stove: 200 ° C / convection: 180 ° C / gas: level 3) for about 40 minutes. Let cool down.
