Instructions

  1. Clean the meat, pat dry and rub with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the clarified butter in a roaster and fry the meat on all sides. Add some hot water. Simmer in a closed saucepan for approx. 90 minutes over medium heat, pouring the meat stock over and over again.
  3. Cut the onions into rings and peel, core and quarter the apples.
  4. 10 minutes before the end of the roasting time, add the onions and apples to roast. Add cinnamon and cloves.
  5. Remove the roast and keep it warm.
  6. Add the butter to the stock and let the onions and apples turn golden brown.
  7. Cut the roast into slices and serve with onions and apples.
  8. I recommend boiled potatoes as a side dish
