Peel off the skin of the meat sausage and cut deeply into the sausage at intervals. Grease refractory form. Put sausage inside. Mix the mustard, ketchup and curry and onion powder or grated onion. Brush the incisions. Insert the apple pieces into the incisions. Brush the sausage with melted butter.
Place the dish in the preheated oven on the middle rack and fry for about 30 minutes (electric stove approx. 225 degrees / gas setting 4 / convection 200 degrees).
We prefer mashed potatoes and a green salad with it.
A variation: Season the sausage with grated horseradish and place delicately chopped leek rings in the incisions. Is also very tasty!
