Instructions

  1. Peel the apples and sharon fruits. Remove the stems and core from the apples, remove the stem from the Sharons and cut the fruit into small pieces. Cut the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the pulp.
  2. Simmer the fruits with agave syrup, spices and vanilla pod and pulp for about 10 minutes on a low flame. Either pass through a sieve or puree in a blender and season to taste.
  3. The liquid content of the Sharons should be sufficient, but to be on the safe side, check and add some apple juice if necessary.
  4. The puree goes well with waffles, pancakes or simply mixed with yogurt.
