Instructions

  1. Use a mixer to mix the flour, butter, egg, sugar and salt into a firm dough. Cover and let rest for at least 1 hour.
  2. Peel, quarter and core the apples.
  3. Caramelize sugar in a pan, add butter, remove from heat and spread the apples on top.
  4. Roll out the dough round and place it on the pan / tart dish with the apples.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for a good 20 minutes.
  6. Halve the vanilla pod lengthways and scrape out the pulp. Put both in a saucepan with 200 ml of milk and the sugar. Bring this to a boil, stir in the pudding powder or starch with the remaining milk and egg until smooth. So that the boiling liquid binds and stirs.
