Instructions

  1. Brush the edge of a 24cm springform pan with butter and cover the base with baking paper.
  2. For the dough, beat the butter, sugar and salt until airy. Add the eggs and stir until the mixture is light. Mix in the grated almonds. Sieve in the flour and baking powder, mix well. Pour the dough into the mold and spread it on, pulling up the edge approx. 4 cm. Put in a cool place.
  3. For the filling, peel, quarter and core the apples, mix with half of the lemon juice. Stick the apple quarters upright into the dough along the edge (2 rows).
  4. Mix the crème fraîche, quark, sugar, pudding powder, cornstarch, eggs and remaining lemon juice well, pour into the mold.
  5. Put the apple cake in the cold oven and bake at 160 ° C for 60 - 65 minutes (cover with aluminum foil towards the end if necessary). Allow to cool in the mold. Dust with powdered sugar just before serving.
