Instructions

  1. First of all: I have a Tefal VS 4001 VitaCuisine table steamer. The preparation may differ for other models.
  2. Put all ingredients in the rice container of the table steamer and steam for 30 minutes. Depending on the apple variety, less cooking time is sufficient or it takes longer.
  3. After cooking, puree the apple pieces, either with the potato masher or the hand blender.
  4. Either let it cool down and eat soon or fill it hot into two 400 ml glasses that have been rinsed with hot water. Close the jars and turn them upside down. Alternatively, the applesauce can also be frozen.
