Bring the water and sugar to the boil, stirring constantly, until the syrup is clear. Let the syrup cool down. Cut the apricots into pieces and fill them into a suitable container (4 liters) with a tightly closed lid. Pour the syrup over the fruit and add the other ingredients.
Close the lid tightly and leave in a cool dark place for a month. Then pour or filter the liqueur into bottles or glasses.
Makes about 2 liters.
TIP:
Don`t throw away the fruit! Use for stuffing poultry or sprinkle on ice, work into pound cake, etc.
