Instructions

  1. Cook Mie pasta according to the instructions on the packet and drain.
  2. Peel the carrot. Peel strips from the carrot with the peeler and then cut the carrot and spring onions into fine, approx. 4 cm long sticks.
  3. Mix the water, soy sauce, sambal olek, curry paste and starch well in a shaker.
  4. Sear the vegetables in a pan or wok with a little oil for 4 minutes. Push the vegetables to the edge and fry the pasta for another 4 minutes. Mix everything well and add the sauce. Simmer while stirring until the sauce has combined with the noodles.
  5. Of course, you can always change this recipe. E.g. with marinated chicken or beef or various vegetables such as mung bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, Chinese cabbage, mushrooms and peppers or simply a frozen mixture. Simply cut into strips or bite-sized pieces and fry them at the beginning. The sauce can be enhanced with fresh ginger and garlic.
