Instructions

  1. Cut the lemongrass lengthways into thin strips. Pour the tea with the lemongrass, boiling water and agave syrup. If you don`t have agave syrup, you can also use brown cane sugar.
  2. Let the tea stand until it is really strong. With black tea, the liquid is really nice and dark and strong after about 10 minutes. Pour the tea through a sieve into another pot so that you don`t have the lemongrass strips in your mouth later. The tea essence can now be put in the refrigerator and must be cooled down there.
  3. When the tea essence is really cold, the iced tea can be prepared. The iced tea is now prepared by the glass. You fill your glass about a quarter to a third with the tea essence. To do this, squeeze half a lime and add 2-3 ice cubes. Now the glass is filled with mineral water.
