Peel the fresh asparagus. Cook in salted water with a small piece of butter (should still have a bit of bite).
Wrap 2-3 stalks of asparagus with a slice of Gouda cheese, depending on the thickness, then wrap it in a slice of ham and pin it with toothpicks.
Then these asparagus-Gouda-ham pieces are turned in flour and then lightly tapped. Then pull through the beaten egg and roll in the breadcrumbs at the end.
Fry them in a frying pan with heated oil until they are crispy.
You can eat this breaded asparagus hot or cold - both are possible.
Tastes super tasty, you don`t need any side dishes (makes you feel full) and the asparagus tastes completely different.
