Instructions

  1. Filling:
  2. First, peel the 4 sweet potatoes and the pumpkin, also remove the pumpkin seeds. Then cut the potatoes into cubes approx. 5 x 5 x 5 mm. Grate the pumpkin on a grater, not too small. Then cut the shallots very small. Mix the whole thing together and add 1 egg. Season with pepper and salt to taste.
  3. Dough:
  4. Mix flour, 2 eggs and approx. 200 ml water to form a dough. The dough should be able to be rolled out and not become too hard or too mushy. As for dumplings.
  5. Wedding:
  6. Roll the dough into small round flat circles. Each weighing approx. 20 g and approx. 10 cm in diameter. Put a heaping tablespoon of filling in the center. Now carefully glue 2 opposite edges together with your fingertips. Now spread the ears that have now been created apart and glue the two corners of one side with two corners of the other side to each other. In the end it looks like a rose.
  7. Now place them on butter-smeared plates with holes for steaming. A total of 48 pieces can be used.
