Put the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup and the juice of half a lemon in a large bowl and mix well. Season with salt and pepper.
Clean and quarter the strawberries. Put the berries in the bowl with the rocket. Remove the peel and core from the avocado, cut into cubes, add to the salad and mix everything carefully.
Serve the strawberry-avocado salad immediately.
Variation: Instead of the avocado, you can also use crumbled feta cheese.
