Instructions

  1. Halve the avocado, remove the stone and remove the pulp from the skin with a spoon. Mash into a fine pulp with a fork in a bowl. Wash the tomatoes, cut them in half and cut them into very small cubes. Peel the garlic cloves, roughly chop and finely mash them on a board with a little salt. Add the tomatoes and garlic sauce to the avocado. Add the olive oil and lime juice and season with salt and pepper. Spread the whole thing on lightly toasted baguette or ciabatta slices. Also tastes good as an accompaniment to grilled food or as a starter.
