Instructions

  1. First create a net out of the breakfast bacon. To do this, first lay 6 - 8 strips of bacon side by side, leaving one strip of bacon free. Then lay 6 - 8 strips across and weave a tight net out of them.
  2. Mix the spices into the BBQ rub. Knead the minced meat with the BBQ rub. Spread the minced meat mixture on the bacon net. Then cut the onion into rings and spread on top and press down. Sprinkle a layer of grated Gouda cheese on top. If you like it hot, you can sprinkle hot peppers, jalapeños or coarsely ground pepper on it. Then carefully shape everything into a roll.
  3. So that the bacon bomb does not burn on the grill, place an aluminum dish upside down on the grill and then place the bacon bomb on it. Grill indirectly for 30 to 40 minutes. After grilling, add BBQ sauce to the bacon bomb.
