Heat the butter in a pan, lightly roast the toast on one side for approx. 3 minutes over a medium heat and remove it from the pan again.
Place 2 slices of bacon side by side, place one of the toast with the browned side up, in the middle of the bacon and top with a slice of cheddar cheese. Sprinkle with a pinch of oregano. Now place the second slice of toast with the browned side down and turn the ends of the bacon. Wrap the sandwich diagonally with the remaining 2 bacon slices. A parcel is created, so to speak.
Place the sandwich without any additional fat in the slightly preheated pan and let it brown over medium heat for 4 - 5 minutes, then turn it over.
When the other side has reached the desired browning as well, the cheese should be melted in the middle and the sandwich is ready.
