Instructions

  1. Using the custard powder, milk and sugar, cook a chocolate pudding according to the instructions on the packet. Melt the dark chocolate in it. Pour into a bowl and cover directly with cling film so that no skin forms when it cools.
  2. Drain the cherries while collecting 250 ml of juice. Fill up with water if necessary. Mix some juice with the cornstarch. Bring the remaining juice to the boil and thicken with the starch. Fold in the cherries and let cool.
  3. Chop the cookies into small pieces. Whip the whipped cream until stiff. Stir 100 g of heavy cream and 4 tablespoons of Bailey`s into the cold chocolate pudding. Pour the mixture into a baking dish or divide it into glasses and sprinkle half of the chopped cookies on top. Drizzle with the rest of the liqueur and cover with the cherries. Spread the rest of the cream on top and spread the cookies on top again.
  4. Chill the dessert and let it steep for about 4 hours. Instead of the thickened cherries, you can also use red fruit jelly.
