Instructions

  1. Peel the apples, cut out the core and cut into 1 cm thick rings.
  2. For the dough, sieve the flour mixed with baking powder into a bowl, make a well in the center and add the sugar and the egg, whisked with some of the milk. Now mix the egg and flour in the middle. Add enough of the rest of the milk to make the batter thick and make sure that no lumps are formed.
  3. Dip the apple slices in the batter and bake in the hot fat for approx. 1-2 minutes until golden yellow. After baking, sprinkle them with sugar and serve as dessert while they are still warm.
