Cut the upper part of the 1st apple as thick as a thumb and put aside. Cut out the core and hollow it out 2/3 with a spoon. Mash 2 - 3 dominoes per apple with a fork, pour the mixture into the apple. Sprinkle with cinnamon and place the top part slightly offset.
Place the apple on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Do the same with the remaining apples. Bake the apples at 180 ° C for 25 - 30 minutes (on the 2nd rack from the bottom) until the mixture begins to flow.
Serve the apples hot with a little vanilla ice cream or vanilla sauce.
