Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a deep refractory form.
Mix the ingredients for the filling.
For the syrup, put the sugar, water and rose water in a saucepan and stir over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Simmer for 4 minutes, then pour into the prepared dish.
Remove the core of the apples. Spread the filling over the apples and pour the syrup from the mold over them.
Bake the apples covered for 20 minutes, basting with syrup every now and then. Serve with cream.
