Instructions

  1. Peel the asparagus. Heat the butter in a long saucepan. Layer in the asparagus. Season with salt, sugar and nutmeg. Pour water over them. Bring the water to the boil. Cover and cook the asparagus for 20 minutes.
  2. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C.
  3. Remove the asparagus from the water and drain. Wrap a slice of ham around three sticks. Grease an ovenproof dish with butter, put in the ham rolls. Sprinkle with Emmentaler cheese and plenty of freshly ground pepper. Melt 70g butter in a pan and drizzle over the cheese. Cook in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes.
