Instructions

  1. First fry the minced meat in a little oil until it is crumbly and brown. Meanwhile, let the kidney beans drain a little and cut the peeled tomatoes into small pieces. Then you add the tomatoes with their juice, the chilli flakes and the beans to the minced meat. Next, add some ketchup to the whole thing and season with salt, pepper and oregano. Simmer on a low flame for about 5 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, cut the baguette lengthways and use a spoon to make a small depression in the bottom of the bread. Then you fill it with the chili con carne and sprinkle it with cheese. Now you can either put the other side on it as a lid or fill it too.
  3. Finally, you bake the whole thing in 180 degrees convection, depending on the desired tan. But not too long so that the baguette doesn`t get too dry.
