Baked Fish in Greek, with Tomato Sauce Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
  2. Grate the cheese on a medium grater.
  3. Wash the tomato, remove the stem, and cut into cubes. Peel the garlic clove and chop or grate it.
  4. In a bowl, combine the tomato cubes, grated cheese, garlic, sour cream, mayonnaise, and about half of the fish seasoning. Mix well.
  5. Grease a baking dish with 1 tbsp vegetable oil.
  6. Cut the 500 g fish fillet into portions and arrange in the baking dish. Season with salt, ground black pepper, and the remaining fish seasoning.
  7. Spread the tomato-cheese sauce evenly over the fish portions.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the fish is cooked through and the sauce is bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven and serve immediately while hot.
