Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan for the sauce. Add the flour and sweat for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Take the saucepan off the stove and slowly stir in the milk. Put the pot back on the stove and bring to the boil, stirring constantly. Simmer until the sauce has thickened. Take the pot off the stove again and stir in the mustard and cheese. Season to taste with nutmeg, salt and pepper.
  3. Spread the asparagus evenly on the ham slices, roll them around the asparagus and place with the edge down in an ovenproof dish. Pour the sauce over the ham and asparagus rolls.
