Instructions

  1. Cut the onions into thin rings, dice the apples and mix with the lemon juice. Chop the garlic and ginger.
  2. Heat the oil in the pan, gradually fry the onion, apples, garlic and ginger. Deglaze with broth, add port wine and cream. Season to taste with freshly ground pepper and herbal salt.
  3. Wash the liver slices, pat dry, turn them in flour and fry them vigorously on both sides in hot oil. Then let it steep for 10 minutes. Only pepper and salt the liver just before serving.
  4. To serve, arrange the liver slices on the onion and apple mixture. Mashed potatoes and lettuce or red cabbage go well with this.
