Instructions

  1. The parsnips are washed, peeled well and cut into thin sticks. Then you put the pens in a large and flat baking dish (a baking sheet will certainly work too). The vegetables are then seasoned with salt and pepper and drizzled with oil (I use walnut oil or olive oil).
  2. Cook everything in the preheated oven at approx. 180 ° C on the middle rack. The parsnips are done when they are soft when you bite them (something like french fries).
  3. I don`t have precise quantities for salt, pepper and oil - I always do it with a sense of proportion. You should be more careful with olive oil because of its stronger flavor.
  4. This is a very simple dish, but really delicious! As a side dish, I serve it with fish, roasts and minced meat, for example, and it can also be eaten as a main course with herb quark (then only for 2 people).
