Baked Pears with Curd Filling Instructions

  1. Wash the pears well under running cold water, then cut into halves and remove the core and seeds.
  2. Remove the yellow zest from the lemon using a fine grater. Squeeze 20 ml of juice from the same lemon.
  3. Scrape the pulp of the pears with a spoon, being careful not to damage the peel.
  4. Grind the pear pulp with a submersible blender, not until smooth, let large pieces remain.
  5. Grind the curd with an immersion blender until smooth.
  6. Turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. Combine half of the pear pulp with grated cottage cheese, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.

  7. Add the remaining pear pulp to the curd mass in parts so that the filling does not turn out to be very liquid. If the filling is still liquid, add 1 tablespoon. a spoonful of semolina and stir. (The pulp of pears can be cut into small cubes and added to the curd mass all at once, and not in parts.)
  8. Fill the previously prepared pears with the resulting filling.
  9. Cover the baking sheet with foil. Put the pears with curd filling on the foil.
  10. Bake pears with cottage cheese in the oven for 5-10 minutes. Then remove the pears from the oven and cool at room temperature.

  11. Put cooled baked pears with cottage cheese on a plate, cover with cling film and send to the refrigerator for 1 hour so that the filling “stabilizes”.
  12. Serve chilled baked pears with filling to the table, garnish with fresh mint.

Enjoy your meal!
