An unusual solution for a regular pumpkin. Bake the squash cubes in the oven after combining them with vegetable oil and aromatic spices. It turns out very tasty and original. And for an even more amazing taste, sprinkle the finished dish with a mixture of grated hard cheese and chopped parsley!
Rinse the pumpkin, remove the inner fibrous part with seeds, and tough peel. Cut the peeled pumpkin pulp into medium cubes.
Add vegetable oil to the pumpkin bowl and stir until all sticks are covered with oil. Combine salt, black pepper, paprika, granulated garlic, and starch in a separate bowl. Toss and add this mixture to the pumpkin. Stir until all the squash cubes are covered with this mixture.
Place the pumpkin sticks in one layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in the preheated oven for 20-30 minutes (baking time depends on the size of the pumpkin sticks and your oven).
I had small slices of pumpkin ready after 25 minutes of baking. Remove the prepared pumpkin sticks from the oven and cool slightly.
Rinse the parsley, shake, cut off the stalks and finely chop the leaves. Grate the hard cheese on a fine grater.
Stir in chopped cheese and parsley.
Sprinkle the mixture over the pumpkin sticks.Stir the baked pumpkin sticks with cheese and spices and serve! Enjoy your meal!
