Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the onion. Bring the vegetable stock to the boil in a saucepan, add onion and rice and cook over medium to low heat (covered, follow the rice packaging instructions). Stir again and again. When the rice is done, mix in the peas (do not have to be defrosted) and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Grease a baking dish, add the pea and rice mixture alternately with the cheese. If you like, you can also use more cheese than stated. Finish with cheese and cover with the bacon slices.
  3. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes.
