Instructions

  1. Cut the zucchini into strips lengthways with a peeler or a knife and gradually fry them in a pan with a little oil, adding a little pepper and salt. Remove the fried strips and place half a slice of boiled ham and half a slice of cheese on top and wrap them into a roll. Layer the rolls close together in a baking dish. Put a leaf of fresh basil between each of the balls. If you don`t have fresh basil, sprinkle basil spice over the rolls at the end.
  2. When all the rolls are ready, cut the onion into small cubes and fry in a saucepan. When they turn brown, add a little flour and the cream and stir well. Cut the tomatoes into small cubes and add them, as well as the canned tomatoes. Simmer the tomatoes a little, then season with salt and pepper. Pour the tomato sauce over the zucchini rolls.
  3. Bake in a hot oven at 175 ° C for about 20 minutes.
