Peel the potatoes and onions and cut into even slices or rings. Layer the two ingredients alternately in a baking dish. Lightly pepper and salt in between. Pour in the stock until the potatoes are lightly covered.
Bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for 30 - 35 minutes. The cooking time may vary depending on the type and quantity of potatoes. Occasionally poke the potatoes to see if they`re done.
When the potatoes are soft and the top layer has got a light brown, they can be served.
The potatoes go well with pork schnitzel, panhas or other meat dishes.
