Wash the strawberries and let them drain well. Pluck from the stems and cut in half or quarter. Pluck the lower leaves from the basil branches and cut into strips.
Put the strawberries, basil, honey, balsamic vinegar and crushed ice with some mineral water in a large food processor and mix until creamy.
Pour into two large glasses, grind the pepper over them and serve decorated with the basil sprigs or leaves.
Tip: If it`s not strawberry season, buy frozen strawberries and leave out the ice cubes.
