Preheat the oven to 150 degrees (I also put a heat-resistant bowl of water in because of the moisture). Mix the margarine with the sugar until it has dissolved. Then stir in the flour and baking powder. Gradually add all the other ingredients and stir. Grease a loaf pan and dust with flour. Pour in the dough and bake the bread for about 50 minutes.
The bread tastes wonderful for breakfast, e.g., with nut nougat cream. But even without a topping it is a pleasure.
