Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas with a fork. Stir in the cream cheese or quark or yogurt. Press the ginger through the garlic press and stir into the mixture.
  2. Crush the cardamom grains in a mortar and stir in with the cinnamon, salt, chili powder and mango powder. Let rest for 10 - 15 minutes. Possibly sweeten with honey.
  3. Those who are sensitive to heat should taste before adding the chili powder, as the ginger is already quite hot.
  4. Mango powder / tamarind puree is used for acidification and can be replaced with lemon juice or left out.
  5. If you replace cream cheese, curd cheese or yoghurt with 0.5 - 1 l milk, you get a dreamlike banana milk.
