Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas in a bowl with a fork or with the dough hook of the hand mixer. Add olive oil and honey and mix with cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and cocoa powder.
  2. Walnuts, sunflower seeds, sesame and flax seeds together make about one cup. Stir in these ingredients and the desiccated coconut as well. Finally add the oat flakes and knead in. The quantities given are approximate guidelines and can be varied according to taste. It should be a bit sticky, but no longer liquid, so that all the ingredients are moist.
  3. Spread the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 150 ° C for about 35 minutes. Turn several times in between and chop larger chunks a little so that everything is evenly brown and dry.
  4. After baking, the granola can be mixed with dried apple slices or cranberries as desired.
  5. Once cooled, it can be stored in an airtight jar and will last for at least a week. The recipe is about enough for a 1.5 liter glass.
  6. Tastes very tasty with oatmeal or yoghurt, and can be eaten as a healthy and filling snack at school, while studying or at work.
