Instructions

  1. At the beginning, the oat flakes must be put in a saucepan and poured over with the water. Then the whole thing is heated and briefly boiled. Be careful with stirring so that nothing burns.
  2. Then simmer on medium heat for about 5 - 10 minutes. If the mass is too thick for you, you are welcome to add some more water or, alternatively, soy milk.
  3. While the mixture is simmering, crush the banana with a fork and fold in with the cinnamon. Because of their natural sweetness, I always take the ripe bananas, which are already turning brown on the outside. If that`s not sweet enough, you can add some more honey.
  4. For the taste, I still add a bit of vanilla from a vanilla grinder.
  5. Arrange in a bowl and enjoy warm. The recipe can also be supplemented with various fruits as a topping.
