Preheat oven with baking sheet on the center rack to 175 degrees. Grease and lightly flour a bread pan. Chop strawberries finely. Cut one strawberry very finely. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. When the oil starts to brown and starts to smell nutty, remove the pan from the heat and pour the oil into a small bowl. Refrigerate.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, salt and ground cinnamon. In a small bowl, beat eggs together, vanilla extract and yoghurt. Add banana puree and beat together. When the butter has cooled, add it to the mixture and beat well. Add banana mixture to flour mixture, mix well until smooth. Add chopped strawberries. Mix gently.
Spoon the dough into the prepared skillet and garnish with thinly sliced strawberries on top. Bake the bread for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before turning on the wire shelf and letting cool completely. The bread is stored unopened for 4 days at room temperature.
